American Dream

We've reached the end of your first notion. You can now start going through again all the documents we've worked on and ask yourself a few questions which will help you finalize your presentation for your oral exam. A few hints:

-Why are people ready to do everything to live in another country? (think of what we've studied but you can also consider the current situation in France and in Europe.)

- Is there a French dream? or a British or a European dream?

- Do you have a hero?

- Would you like to be a hero?

- What does it take to be a hero?

- Why have the whole world always been fascinated by the US?

My advice would be to recap all we've seen in class and to try and start writing on your oral presentation; you can present it to a friend (or a member of your family) just to check whether you can last 5 minutes. You are more than welcome to email me your recording. Feel free to present it in class whenever you feel like it!
